Modifying
or
making
any
changes
to the stove is not permitted. Only
original replacement parts from HASE
Kaminofenbau GmbH may be used.
CAUTION!
Be sure to connect the stove to a chimney
that meets the applicable regional and
national regulations and standards.
For safety reasons, make sure that all joints
and connections between the stove and
chimney are sealed tightly.
Improperly installed or leaking flue gas
pipes pose a particular risk due to smoke
emission and/or fire hazards. Please make
sure to consult a licensed specialised
company
to
determine
the
correct
arrangement and installation of the pipes.
Around the connection opening, you are
legally required to remove all flammable,
combustible, or heat-sensitive materials
located on or inside the wall, and replace
them
with
non-flammable
materials.
The pertinent national fire protection
regulations have to be complied with.
WARNING!
In the event of a chimney fire:
- Call the emergency number for the fire
brigade!
- Remove flammable objects from the
chimney!
- Never extinguish the fire with water!
- Exit the building and alert any
neighbours.
- Wait for the fire brigade!
- Notify your chimney sweep!
- After a chimney fire the entire
system(stove, flue gas system and
supply air duct) must be checked for
leaks.
Taking out of service by incident (e.g.
overloading the stove):
- Never extinguish the fire with water!
- Keep the stove door close!
- Completely connect the primary air
regulator, if present. Minimize the air
supply using the secondary air regula-
tor or the combstion air regulator.
Caution! Never close completely.
- Keep the stove door close!
- Allow the fire to burn out in a controlled
manner.
The declaration of performance for your stove, pursuant
to EU Regulation No. 305/2011, can be viewed at
www.hase.de and printed out.
2. Installation Conditions and Relevant
Building Regulations
The stove must be installed in accordance with
the instructions and requirements stipulated by the
respective national and European standards and local
regulations.
In Germany, the stove must be registered with the
local master chimney sweep for inspection prior to
initial operation.

3. Installation

Check to make sure that the load bearing capacity
of the installation surface is sufficient for the
dimensions and weight of the stove. If necessary,
using a floorplate to distribute the load can increase
the load bearing capacity.
If the stove will be operated as a room air dependent
stove, please ensure that the room it will be installed
in has a sufficient supply of combustion air. If the
windows and doors are tightly sealed, the necessary
supply of fresh air may not be ensured, which can
interfere with the draught capability of the stove and
chimney.
If additional combustion air inlet openings are
required, they are not permitted to be closed or
blocked.
The stove is only intended to be installed free-
standing. Do not place in alcoves or cover the stove.
