The vehicle must only be used with two 2-cell LiPo rechargeable batteries or 6-cell NiCd-/NiMH recharge-
able batteries. When driving batteries with more cells are used, the vehicle drive will be overloaded; cog-
wheels, joints and drive axles will be damaged, and the guarantee/warranty will be void!
Do not mix the two types of rechargeable batteries - use either two LiPo driving batteries or two NiMH
driving batteries.
The driving batteries must always have the same capacity and discharge rate. Therefore, they must have
the same type and manufacturer.
Never connect driving batteries with different charging states or partially charged driving batteries to the
speed controller. Otherwise, a wrong number of cells may be recognised, and the undervoltage-protection
may not work properly. This may lead to deep discharging of the batteries! For this, also observe chapter
10. b), function #12.
Before connecting the two driving batteries to the speed controller, activate the transmitter (see chapter 8. d), e) and f).
Also check that the speed controller is switched off (switch position
"ON" = on, "OFF" = off, for switch positions at the vehicle, see arrow
in the figure to the right).
Now connect the two driving batteries to the speed controller.
