► Insert the filter/disposal bag [8] + [10].
► Replace the top section [2-1] and close the
locking clips [2-2].
► Connect the suction hose to the intake
opening [1-7].
Installing the accessory box including the tube
holder
► Position the accessory box on the top sec­
tion of the machine [2-1] and secure with
two screws [2-4].
When not using the tube holder, lift the latches,
tilt the tube holder back and remove [2b].
An assembled suction tube with floor nozzle
can be inserted in the slot on the accessory box.
The adapter must be positioned correctly [2b].
6.2
Connecting the mobile dust extractor
WARNING
Risk of injury from tools starting up unex­
pectedly
► Before setting the switch to the "AUTO" or
"MAN" position, make sure that the con­
nected tool is switched off.
The switch [1-12] serves as an on/off switch.
► Insert the plug into an earthed socket.
Pull the plug from the socket when the
machine is not in use and prior to main­
tenance and cleaning work.
Switch position "0"
Appliance socket [1-9] is disconnected from the
power, mobile dust extractor is switched off.
"MAN" switch position
Appliance socket [1-9] is connected to the pow­
er, the mobile dust extractor starts.
"Auto" switch position
Appliance socket [1-9] is connected to the pow­
er, the mobile dust extractor starts when the
connected tool is switched on.
6.3
Connecting electric power tools
WARNING
Risk of injury
► Observe the maximum appliance socket
connected load (see chapter "Technical da­
ta")
► Switch off the electric power tool.
► Connect the electric power tool to the appli­
ance socket [1-9].

7 Settings

7.1
Adjusting the hose diameter (dust class
M only) [1-15]
The monitoring devices will measure the air
speed in the extractor hose correctly as a result
(see chapter 7.7).
7.2
Adjusting the suction power
► Use the rotary knob [1-13].
7.3
Applying the brake
► Raise the front of the dust extractor slightly.
► Push down the brake [1-5] until it engages
into position.
► Actuate the lever [1-4] to release.
7.4
Temperature cut-out
A temperature cut-out switches the mobile dust
extractor off when it reaches a critical tempera­
ture to prevent overheating.

► Switch off the mobile dust extractor, allow
to cool for about 5 minutes then switch on
again.

7.5
Systainer depot
The surface of the mobile dust extractor dou­
bles up as a surface for storing Systainers:
► Place the Systainer in the Systainer retainer
[3a].
► A Systainer adapter (accessory) must be at­
tached to the top section using four screws
in order to obtain a secure connection [3b].
7.6
Volumetric flow monitoring
An acoustic warning signal sounds if the air
speed in the suction hose falls below 20 m/s (at
dust class 'M',).
