6.9.4 Switching fan and heating elements on and off individually
These functions are only available in the treatment programmes <Drying> and
<Natural Drying>.
The fan function is only available if a heating element 1 is switched on, to avoid
drying with cold air. This is why the fan switches off when the heating element
1 is turned off.
1. Press the left functional button d beside the heating element symbol.
➥ The <Heating, Fan> menu appears in the display f.
Switching the fans on and off individually:
2. Press the right functional button d beside the cross-shaped element symbol.
➥ The right half of the element symbol (for fan) changes from black = ON to
white = OFF.
• Pressing the right functional button d again switches the fan on again.
➥ The right half of the element symbol (for fan) changes from white = OFF to
black = ON.
Switching the heating elements on and off individually:
One heating element 1 remains on
• All heating elements 1 cannot be switched off at the same time.
• The heating element 1 that was last selected does not turn off.
3. Press the left functional button d beside the cross-shaped element symbol.
➥ The left half of the element symbol (for heating element 1) changes from
black = ON to white = OFF.
• Pressing the left functional button d again switches the heating element 1
on again.
➥ The left half of the element symbol (for heating element 1) changes from
white = OFF to black = ON.
6.9.5 Setting the fan speed
This function is only available in the treatment programme <Drying>.
The fan speed can be set to three levels.
1. Press the right functional button d beside the fan symbol.
➥ Each time you press the functional button d the fan setting changes. The fan
level set is symbolised by black blades in the fan symbol:
• Fan level 3: Power (Standard) – three blades are black.
• Pressing the functional button d again switches the fan to level 1: Soft (one
blade is black).
• Pressing the functional button d again switches the fan to level 2: Medium
(two blades are black).
The fan switches to the newly selected fan level after a few seconds.
