4.2 Inputting basic settings <First Use Setting>
The first use setting only has to be made the first time the appliance is operated
after delivery. By doing so, you select the most important appliance settings. The
First Use Setting must be made before you can use the appliance.

➥ After the Climazon logo, the <First Use Setting> menu appears in the display

Selecting language:
2. Press the function buttons d beside the word English.
➥ The <menu language> changes.
Selecting hair type:
3. Press the function buttons d beside the word <Hair Type>.
➥ Three hair types are displayed for selection.
• Select the hair type you mostly treat in your salon.
➥ The selected / displayed hair type is activated in the appliance.
➥ The settings for the default treatment programmes are automatically changed
to suit the selected hair type.
Selecting start mode:
There are two different appliance start modes for you to choose from:
• Manual Start = the selected treatment programme does not start until you
enter the start command <Start>.
• Automatic Start = the selected treatment programme starts as soon as you
select the programme.
To change the start mode:
4. Press the function buttons d beside the word <Manual Start>.
➥ The display switches between the two variants.
➥ The selected / displayed variant is activated.
Saving inputs:
5. To save your inputs, press one of the function buttons d beside the word
<Save>.
➥ The <Save> function stores your input and closes the <First Use Setting> menu.
➥ Your Climazon² is now ready for operation.
Changing inputs:
If you would like to change your inputs at a later time, press the SETTING button
g. You can change them as well as many other settings for your appliance in the
<Setting> menu (see "section 7" page 72).
