WARNING
Electric shock hazard
• The wall arm version should only be used with a
correctly earthed socket outlet with earthing
contact.
• Keep the mains cable a away from heated sur-
faces. Do not squash, kink or hang the mains cable
a over the heating elements 1.
• Make sure that no foreign bodies can enter open-
ings. Do not introduce objects into openings in the
appliance. Do not use sharp objects, e.g. a tail
comb, to remove dust or foreign bodies.
• Only clean the appliance with the plug b remo-
ved, and do not use a wet cloth.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands and
protect from splashing.

treatment:
• Do not knock the appliance during treatment.
• Do not touch the heating elements 1.

• Under no circumstances should the appliance be
left unattended as long as the plug b is still
inserted.
• The use of the appliance requires supervision.
Special attention is required around children or
infirm persons in particular.
• The transparent plastic film poses a risk of
suffocation to children. Keep the packaging away
from children.
• The appliance may not be used with the old Wella
pedestal type ST3 under any circumstances. The
appliance may fall off the pedestal type ST3 during
use and injure the customer being treated.
• The module with the customer button 4 juts
downwards. To avoid injuring the customer's head,
lift up the appliance slightly before you push it
away from the customer.
