6.1 Checking protection filter in front of temperature sen-
sor
During a treatment (except in the treatment programmes <Drying> and
<Highlights>), the temperature sensor 3 measures the temperature at the cus-
tomer's head and automatically maintains the optimal treatment temperature.
The temperature sensor 3 will only measure properly if the protection filter is
clean and undamaged, you should therefore check the protection filter in front of
the temperature sensor 3 prior to every treatment.
Damage to the appliance
• The temperature sensor 3 and the protection filter film are sensi-
tive and easily scratched.
• Do not touch or clean the protection filter film and temperature
sensor 3.
1. Check the protection filter in front of the temperature sensor 3 for soiling or
damage.
2. Replace the protection filter if defective or soiled as described in "section 8.2"
page 75.
6.2 Positioning appliance for customer
6.2.1 Positioning the appliance
Ensure correct distance from back of chair
• Make sure that the lower heating element 1 is positioned above
the back of the chair.
1. Adjust appliance to required height.
• For optimum treatment, the customer's head must be positioned exactly in the
middle of the Climazon.
• As a guide: middle of customer's ear = middle of side heating elements 1.
6.2.2 After the treatment / Monitoring treatment progress
Risk of injury when pushing appliance away
• The module with the customer button 4 juts downwards.
• To avoid injuring the customer's head, lift up the appliance slightly
before you push it away from the customer.
