USAGE SAFETY
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury or even death.
The terms „device" or „product" are used in the warnings
and instructions to refer to SOLAR FENCE ENERGIZER.
a)
Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
b)
Do not submerge the device in water or other liquids.
c)
Make sure the workplace is clean and well lit. A messy
or poorly lit workplace may lead to accidents. Try
to think ahead, observe what is going on and use
common sense when working with the device.
d)
If you discover damage or irregular operation,
immediately switch the device off and report it to
a supervisor without delay.
e)
If there are any doubts as to the correct operation
of the device, contact the manufacturer's support
service.
f)
Only the manufacturer's service point may repair the
device. Do not attempt any repairs independently!
g)
In case of fire, use a powder or carbon dioxide
(CO2) fire extinguisher (one intended for use on live
electrical devices) to put it out.
h)
Children or unauthorised persons are forbidden to
enter a work station.
i)
Regularly inspect the condition of the safety labels. If
the labels are illegible, they must be replaced.
j)
Please keep this manual available for future
reference. If this device is passed on to a third party,
the manual must be passed on with it.
k)
Keep packaging elements and small assembly parts
in a place not available to children.
l)
If this device is used together with another
equipment, the remaining instructions for use shall
also be followed.
m)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.

The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instruction on how to operate the device.

to ensure that they do not play with the device.

Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.

When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.

Keep the device in perfect technical condition.

Keep the device out of the reach of children.

Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.

To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
w)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn
grime from accumulating.

The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
y)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.

Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
aa)
Turn off the device before installation, maintenance
or any work on the fence.
bb)
Do not connect the energizer to the fence alongside
any other device, such as a cattle trainer or poultry
trainer. Otherwise, the current pulse hitting the fence
will be transferred to all other devices.
cc)
Make sure that the device connection complies with
all local safety regulations.
dd)
When connecting the battery, be careful not to
short-circuit the power terminals.
ee)
To prevent water from collecting on the terminals
make sure that the jumper wires run down from the
energizer
ff)
Auxiliary equipment must be protected from the
elements, unless it is certified by the manufacturer
as suitable for outdoor use and has a minimum
protection class of IP43.
gg)
Never install more than one energiser on the same
fence. The time between the current pulses on the
fence will be too short and can be dangerous for
animals and people. It can also damage the fence
energizers.
hh)
Never touch or attempt to climb over the live fence
as you risk getting an unpleasant electric shock.
ii)
The device must be properly grounded.
jj)
Do not employ any method of charging the internal
battery other than using the solar panel provided.
kk)
Fence lines fed with separate energizers should be
installed far enough apart to prevent simultaneous
contact with both fence lines. Touching two fences
powered by separate energizers can be dangerous.
ll)
In places exposed to vegetation fires, the fence
should be turned off on exceptionally dry days.
Also, never disconnect cables or approach the fence
during a lightning storm.
