3.3 During use
3.3.1 Low temperatures
Protect the inside of uncoated visors against fogging up with "klar-
pilot" anti-mist gel. Do not wipe coated visors.
3.3.2 High temperatures/alternating thermal stress
WARNING
!
If bubbles appear in the visor, it is a sign that the visor is
becoming soft. In this case leave the danger zone
immediately, as the full face mask can begin to leak.
The coating of visors marked PC/CC may dissolve in some places.
The functioning of the full face mask is not affected by this. It will
remain usable until the end of the job. Replace visor after use.
3.3.3 Chemicals
Some substances can be absorbed by the material of the full face
mask or may even diffuse through it. Further information can be
obtained from Dräger .
3.4 After use
1. Uncouple the lung demand valve:
Press down the button and pull the lung demand valve out of the
connector at the same time.
2. Remove the full face mask:
Put your index fingers behind the flaps of the neck straps, push the
adjusting clamps forward with your thumbs and pull the full face
mask away from your face and over your head at the same time.
CAUTION
!
Do not grab full face mask by the connector and pull it off your
face, since the mask may become damaged.

4 Maintenance
Following any maintenance work and/or replacement of

components, repeat the leak test.
4.1 Recommended test and maintenance
intervals
The following information complies with DGUV-R 112-190 valid in
Germany. Observe national directives.

1) For full face masks in air-tight packaging: every 2 years.
2) For full face masks in air-tight packaging; otherwise every 6 months.
