5.2.2 Flange Pursuant to DIN-ISO702-2 with Camlock Studs

1. Clean the mating surfaces of the collet chuck CAPTIS-M and of the
flange.
2. Place the flange with the external fit on the collet chuck CAPTIS-M and
firmly tighten with the fixing screws. For tightening torque, see Chapter
3.2 Technical Specifications, page 62.
3. Put machine into set-up mode.
4. Clean the fitting surfaces of the machine spindle.
5. Check the fitting surfaces of the machine spindle for radial and axial
run-out.
6. Place the collet chuck CAPTIS-M with the flange on the spindle in the
correct position.
