If the auger-lock indicator blinks and the engine stops.
If the engine stops and red auger-lock indicator blinks, following
symptom may occur.
A foreign object (for example: stone) is incriminated in the rotating
auger.
The auger contacts with curbstone.
The auger breaks into hard-packed snow forcibly.
Follow the instruction described below to remove a foreign object.
To prevent accidental starting while removing a foreign object from
the auger, turn the engine switch to the ''OFF'' position and disconnect
the spark plug cap.
Make sure that all rotating parts are stopped completely before
removing foreign object.
Never put your hand into the snow discharge chute while the engine is
running. Or it can result in serious personal injury.
1. Turn the engine switch to the ''OFF'' position.
2. Disconnect the spark plug cap.
3. Make sure that all rotating parts are stopped completely.
4. If necessary, remove the snow or foreign object from the auger.
