6. After starting the engine, allow it do idle for a few seconds to warm
it up to operating temperature. As the engine stabilizes, gradually
move the throttle lever to the SLOW position.
If the choke knob has been pulled to the CLOSED position to start
the engine, gradually push it to the OPEN position as the engine
warms up. Move the throttle lever to the SLOW position.
THROTTLE LEVER
7. While warming the engine up, also warm the transmission as
follows:
(1) Check that the shift lever is in the ''N'' (Neutral) position.
SHIFT LEVER
(2) Squeeze the drive clutch lever for about 30 seconds.
