10.6 Backrest angle
The backrest can be angled by loosening the
bolt (A). Select the position you require then
retighten the bolt securely. Always ensure the
back angle is secure to maintain the desired
posture for the child.
The backrest angle can be adjusted with
the child in the seat, but always support the
backrest with one hand.
Always make sure the bolt is secure
as this could cause injury to the child
or carer.

There are two angle indicator strips on either
side of the back adjuster. We have supplied
angle location markers (shown below) on a
card. These can be applied to the clear strip
on the adjuster tube to indicate the desired
positions for various activities such as rest,
feeding, play.
The angle indicator strip indicates the angle
from the seat cushion to the backrest.
The black and yellow hazard strip on
the inner tube indicates the maximum
forward or prone position the backrest
can be adjusted to.
