4. ASSEMBLY
4.1 MOUNT THE BRAKE ROTOR
1. If using a Center Lock brake rotor: Assemble the brake rotor according to the manufacturer's
specifications
2. If using a 6-hole (IS) brake rotor: Assemble the brake rotor according to the manufacturer's
specifications.
4.2 MOUNTING A 6-HOLE (IS) BRAKE ROTOR WITH A DT SWISS CENTER LOCK ADAPTER
DANGER
Risk of accident by using the lock ring to mount a Center Lock brake rotor !
The lock ring (3) will not properly tighten a Center Lock brake rotor and will result in excessive play.
• The lock ring (3) must not be used for mounting a Center Lock brake rotor.
• DT Swiss Center Lock adapters may only be used as complete assemblies.
All parts must be used together as shown in the instructions.

Compatibility: The Center Lock adapter may only be used in combination with brake rotors with a
thickness between 1.8 mm and 2.2 mm and the maximum diameter indicated on the lock ring.
1. Clean the Center Lock connection and the thread for the lock ring on the hub.
2. Clean the Center Lock adapter.
3. Push the flange (1) onto the hub.
4. Push the brake rotor onto the flange (1).
5. Place the washer (2) on the brake rotor.
6. Screw on the lock ring (3) completely by hand and then tighten with a suitable tool to a torque of
40 Nm.
