Assembly
 Ensure that the air supply is switched off until the
pneumatic motor has been completely installed. This
safety measure prevents the pneumatic motor from being
started accidentally.
 Ensure that the hose clamps are always securely tight-
ened. If the hose clamps are not tightened or are damaged,
air may escape and the pneumatic hose may come loose
and thrash around in an uncontrolled manner.
 Ensure during installation that the pneumatic motor is
safely earthed at all times. It can become electrostati-
cally charged.

Clamping the Pneumatic Motor
 At high torques, a correspondingly strong counter
force is required. This counter force can be absorbed bet-
ter with a clamping fixture.
Ensure that the clamping fixture holds the pneumatic motor
securely and firmly.
Fasten the pneumatic motor only in the specified clamping ar-
ea 2, and where possible use the entire clamping area. The
smaller the clamping area, the greater the effect of the clamp-
ing forces.
Do not overload the clamping area and avoid stress to the
housing.
