Assembling the shredder

1. Assemble the two running
wheels (13).
2. Clip in the wheel covers (14)
into the running wheels (13).
3. Screw on the two adjustable
feet (12) to the chassis (9).
4. Fix the cutting attachment (5)
onto the chassis (9) with the
four screws enclosed.
5. To insert the collection box
(11), the safety switch must be
unlocked, i.e. in the "OFF" posi-
tion.
6. Push the collecting box (11) into
the chassis (9), with the safety
switch (10) on the side of the
wheels (13). The collecting box
(11) can be pushed in only in
one direction.
7. Lock the collector box (11) by
pushing the safety switch (10)
to the ON position.

Operation

Start-up

Before starting the shredder, make sure
that the shredder unit is firmly attached
to the chassis and the collector box and
safety switch are in their proper positions.
The shredder cannot be switched
on before the collector box and
safety switch are in their proper
positions.
Switching the shredder on and
off
Make sure that the mains power
voltage agrees with the type plate
on the shredder.
Make a loop at the end of
the extension cable and
hang the loop onto the
strain relief on the mains
cable (
Connect the extension cable.
Make sure that the funnel feeder is empty.

mode selection switch (
forward and turn the operating mode
selection switch to the right.
