❐ Do not move the device during the boiling process.
❐ Avoid coming into contact with steam emitted from the spout.
❐ Do not open the lid during the boiling process and as long as the device is hot, be careful
when opening the lid for adding water.
❐ Always make sure that you slowly and carefully pour out boiling water and that you do not
tip the device too abruptly.
❐ Be particularly careful when moving the device that is fi lled with hot water.
❐ Remove the power plug from the socket
– if you are not using the device,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a storm,
– before you clean it.
❐ If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the cable, but always on
the plug.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, cable or plug
do not fall in water or are at risk of getting wet. If the device falls in water, immediately dis-
connect the power supply.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.

Warranty conditions

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts at repair are excluded from the
warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
