to the axle. Carefully refit the snap ring
(21b) and supporting washer (21c).

CAUTION! When pushing on the rear
wheels, make sure that the grooves for
the feather key and the rear wheel are
aligned so that the feather key can be
pushed in without needing undue force.

WARNING: Incorrect fitting of the
snap ring may cause the wheel to
come off while the machine is moving.
Repairing or replacing tyres
All replacements or repairs following a
punc ture must be carried out by a
specialist tyre repair company.
Replacing a fuse
The machine has three fuses (Fig. 27) with
different ratings, the functions and
specifications of which are as follows:
- 10 A fuse (models without display) / 7,5 A
(models with display) that protects the
main and power circuits of the electronic
circuit board. When it blows, the
machine stops.
- 15 A fuse that protects the battery
charger circuit. When it blows, the
battery gradually runs out and the
machine will have problems starting.
- 10 A fuse to protect the electronic circuit
emptying the bag.
The fuse capacity is indicated on the fuse.
A blown fuse must always be replaced by
one of the same type and ampere rating,
never one of a different rating.
If you cannot find the cause of the fuse
blowout, contact an Authorised Service
Centre.
The fuses are housed under the bonnet.
Cutter assembly
The cutting deck should be properly set to
obtain an evenly cut lawn and reduce
vibrations.
If the cut is uneven, check the tyre
pressure.
Blade
WARNING
- Always wear work gloves to check the
condition of the blade.
- A damaged or bent blade must always
be replaced. Never repair a damaged
blade by welding, straightening or
modifying it. This may cause the blade
to come off and result in serious or
fatal injuries.
- Always use original marked blades.
- Check periodically that the bolt is
tightened to 65 Nm (6.5 kgm).
I f t h e g r a s s m o w i n g b e c o m e s
unsatisfactory as time goes by, the blade
probably needs to be sharpened. A badly
sharpened blade pulls out the grass and
causes the lawn to turn yellow.
- Sharpening the blade is a very delicate
operation. If its perfect balance is not
taken into consideration, it can lead to
abnormal vibrations that cause the blade
to become loose, with consequent
danger for the operator.
- The blade must be assembled with the
right angle. Erroneous assembly can
cause incorrect tightening, resulting in
the loosening of the blade when
working, with dangerous consequences
for the operator. For these reasons the
blade must be balanced and replaced by
an Authorised Service Centre.
