In the neutral position of remote control lever and trim lever, the servo shafts should be in the center position between the two limit
stops.

Installing the steering servo

Put the steering servo on the channel of the remote control transmitter, whose steering lever is moved "right/left" (or for knob remote
control systems on the channel of the steering wheel).
Structure of steering
The steering is designed as axle leg steering. At the same time the steering knuckle
arms are connected with a three-part steering link. The pivoting movement of the
servo control lever (1) has an effect on the steering linkage (), on one (3) of the two
rigidly coupled, right-angled levers which are attached rotatably to an axle between
RC mounting plate and chassis plate in the same plane as the steering rod. The
second lever arm of the servo saver (3) steers the centre part of the steering link, the
steering plate (4), and in this way causes the wheels to turn via the steering link (5).
When hard shocks are carried in via the steering link during operation, they are not
immediately transmitted to the steering servo, but are absorbed with the help of the
resilient connection of the two lever arms of the servo saver.
Turning right and left is limited by a mechanical stop of the steering knuckle arm
against the axle leg support.
Installation of steering servo
•
Place the servo shaft via the remote control in the neutral position.
•
Unscrew the RC installation base and the support of the transverse stabilizers
(eight screws) and
•
insert the steering servo with the servo shaft pointing to the front into the recess
of the RC installation base from the bottom.
•
Separate two servo attachments from the accessories (a) and screw in the servo
through the RC base in the attachments.
Installation of the RC installation base
•
Point the wheels forward.
•
Replace the RC installation base and
•
screw the RC installation base back onto the distancer bolts and the transmission
casing.
•
Fix the transverse stabilizers in place with the support plates through the RC installation base on
the chassis.
•
Attach the servo lever in such a way to the servo shaft that the reversing lever runs on the outside
left parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
•
Make sure that the servo shaft remains in neutral position and that the wheels are pointing straight
ahead.
•
Also make sue that the servo lever moves tension-free and that the full steering radius can be
achieved.
•
Screw the servo lever tight in this position on the servo shaft, from the bottom through the opening
in the chassis.
We recommend also installing the throttle/brake servo at this time , before you permanently install the RC installation base!

Installation of throttle/brake servo

•
The throttle/brake servo is attached to the rear recess of the RC installation
base.
•
Slide the servo from the bottom into the recess, servo shaft to the front and screw
it tight with the remaining two servo attachments.
