e) Instructions relevant to batteries and rechargeable batteries
Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.
Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. In such case, seek instant
medical care!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. They might explode!
Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries might cause acid burns when getting into contact with skin. Therefore, use suitable protective
gloves.
Conventional batteries must not be re-charged. They might explode! Only charge rechargeable batteries which are intended for this purpose; use suitable
rechargeable battery chargers.
Please observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries. The same is the case when connecting the receiver
current supply.
Always separate the power supply from the receiver when you the vehicle isn't used. If the device is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. storage),
take out the inserted batteries or rechargeable batteries out of the receiver battery holder and the remote control holder to avoid damage from leaking
batteries/rechargeable batteries.
In the case of old batteries or rechargeable batteries there is the risk that they leak and damage the product.
Never mix batteries and rechargeable batteries. Either use batteries or rechargeable batteries.
The operation with rechargeable batteries instead of batteries is possible. However, the low voltage (batteries=1.5V, rechargeable batteries=1.V) and
the lower capacity of rechargeable batteries does lead to a decrease of the operating time, there can also be problems with the range.
When using batteries, we recommend the use of high-quality alkaline batteries, (e.g. alkaline Mignon batteries Conrad item number 650117).
Never mix full and half full rechargeable batteries /batteries or rechargeable batteries with different capacities.
Otherwise, the weaker rechargeable batteries / batteries or rechargeable batteries with low capacity can be totally discharged and can leak.
Defective / rechargeable batteries which cannot be recharged any more are a hazardous waste (recycling sites). It is forbidden to dispose of them via the
household rubbish!

3. Description of the model

Do you want everything and immediately?
You made the correct choice with 4WD GP Racing Car RTR (No. 35960). The engine with starter cord, air filter, manifold and resonance tube is already
mounted, as well as the complete RC system with servos and receiver with ON/OFF switch. For the receiver and the rechargeable batteries of the receiver,
there is a practical box screwed onto the chassis. However, you still have to charge rechargeable batteries or to insert batteries, to fasten the spark plug, to
fill the tank and to prepare and install the car body. Now, you are ready!
In the ARR (Almost Ready to Run) version, the RC installation is not part of the delivery. Receiver, steering servo and gas/brake servo still have to be
installed.
Highest quality materials and first-grade workmanship guarantee untroubled driving fun even under tough operating conditions and a long life of the model.
The low degree of maintenance leaves you lots of time to concentrate on driving and to perfect your manner of driving.
Technical Information
Engine
The model is driven by an air-cooled two stroke engine. A slide carburettor and foam air-filter, manifold and tuned pipe are already mounted.
The novel aluminium and plastic slide carburettor is easily adjustable, hence allowing perfect engine tuning. The recoil pull starter flanged to the crank case
is all that is required to start the engine.
The engine is operated with environmentally-friendly model fuel based on methanol/oil base, the tank with integrated tank pump and practical snap closing
holds 100 ccm; this makes a long running time possible.
Drive:
The power of the two-stroke engine is transferred via the main gear wheel to the differentials in the front and rear axles. The differentials have metal bevel
wheels and planet wheels, the axle drive shafts are supported by ball bearings.
Chassis frame:
The individual wheel suspension as well the aluminum oil dampened shock absorbers which are adjustable on ring bolts optimize road-holding, thus fulfilling
all expectations.
The vehicle is stopped with a very effective disk brake system with aluminum brake disk and special brake pads.
Transverse stabilizers at the front and at the back dampen the body roll, hence stabilizing the cornering ability.
Chassis:
The bottom support plate and the RC mounting plate (reinforcement plate) made of particularly hard aluminum guarantee a high stability and torsion stiffness
whilst being light. This torsion stiffness offers a good drive stability, since no suspension torques from the chassis are superposed.
The drive performance benefits from the low net weight of the special aluminum alloy and the high stability of the model means that it can withstand small
collisions without damage.
