Note
Before installing module 2, ensure that module 1 (liquid dispensing 1-6) is already installed in the machine.
Disconnect the machine from the electrical supply and ensure that power cannot be switched on again in error.
Remove the covers from the connection box (Pos. 1), liquid dispensing (Pos. 2) and the intake valves (Pos. 3);
see Fig. 1.
Remove the electronics mounting bracket.
Line up the provided M4 nuts over the holes on the chassis.
Secure the electronics bracket, including the installed additional electronic EZL 230-A, with the M4x12.5 hex screws
to the chassis; see Fig. 2, Pos. 1.
Secure the bracket.
Secure the EV 230 adapter with the 4 spacers to the connection box chassis; see Fig. 3, Pos. 1.
Connect the EV 230 adapter ground connection; see Fig. 5, Pos. 4.
Modify plug connections:
Disconnect plug EZL 230-A
(module 2, liquid dispensing 7-12); see Fig. 5, Pos. 1a.
Disconnect plug EZL 230-A
(module 2, liquid dispensing 7-12); see Fig. 5, Pos. 1b.
Connect wiring harnesses:
Warning!
The load- and control-current wiring harnesses are disconnected from one another in order to avoid interference signals in
the control leads (electromagnetic compatibility).
Lay excess wiring in the opposite direction and secure, in order to avoid antenna-like behavior; see Fig. 5, Pos. B.

existing wiring harnesses alongside the chassis ground wire (Fig. 4, Pos. 1), to EV 230-110X; see Fig. 5, Pos. 2c.

Lay wiring harness (control current) 51X-52X-101X, from module 2 (liquid dispensing 7-12) EZL 230-A
parallel to the existing wiring harnesses to the fascia panel, to EV 230

Connect electronic ELZ 230-A and adapter EV 230 in accordance with the wiring diagram.
