Fettuccine Carbonara
Ingredients:
400 g
Fettuccine
100 g
diced bacon
1-2
cloves of garlic
3
eggs
1
fl uid ounce of cream
Freshly ground pepper, a pinch of salt
75 g
Sbrinz grated cheese
Method:
1.
Warm your plates in the oven. Cook the fettuccine al dente in slightly salted water.
2.
Fry the bacon in the frying pan until crisp, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the crushed
garlic. Leave the pan to cool, so that the eggs do not curdle when mixed with the fettuccine.
3.
Mix the eggs, cream, salt and pepper together well in a bowl. Fold in the Sbrinz cheese.
4.
Pour the egg mixture into the cooled down pan of bacon and garlic. Decant the fettuccine and
drain it well, then add to the egg mixture.
5.
Mix together carefully
6.
Distribute the fettuccine onto the warm plates and top with grated Sbrinz.
