1-E Reading of operational settings
During cycle execution various readings concerning operation are available.
To view this information just press the "MODE" key during program execution.
The display will keep on reading the n° referring to the selected program and the name and
number denoting the step underway, but the display bottom portion will change as illustrated.
In this case the display reads the maximum temperature and maximum water level to be reached
on a black background, with actual temperature and water level displayed above.
It is worth remarking that the symbol in the top right corner indicates that the heating is on. In
this example, the present temperature is 37°C so that the machine will keep on heating until it is
40°C.
To view other readings like type of water taken in, active soap dispenser, soap pump enabled,
motor operation timing etc, press the " MODE" key again and again. After all these details are
scrolled, the display shows the first reading, i.e. the step symbol and name in big print.
During spinning steps, which envisage drum rotation solely, the only details available are speed
rates.
Changing step operational settings
As explained above, it is possible to switch the display view by simply pressing the " MODE"
key during cycle execution.
The values read for the various steps can be increased and decreased by holding down the "UP"
and "DOWN" keys respectively.
In other words, it is possible to alter the working parameters of an action in progress.
For example, when taking in water it is possible to change the water level setting. To do this
press the " MODE" until the relevant reading is viewed, and then alter the value using the "UP"
or "DOWN" keys: the value will gradually increase or decrease in cm, and this will affect the
setting displayed on a black background, i.e. the maximum value to be reached. The same
applies to heating functions: it is possible to alter the maximum temperature to be reached using
the "UP" and "DOWN" keys.
The remaining operational settings, i.e. temperature maintenance time or spinning time behave
likewise.
1-F Alarm and fault signalling
When faults arise (voltage drop, overtemperature, water level error) the washing machine
notifies the user by a number of alarms that appear on the front panel DISPLAY unit. All alarm
details are dealt with in the "ALARMS" chapter.
1-G End of cycle
CAUTION! Never force the door open. Open by hand only after it has been unlocked.
At any rate, before opening the door make sure that the drum has come to a halt, the water has
been drained off and the temperature inside the drum is below 40°C . Should a potential drop
occur, open the door by pulling the manual puller downwards. To reach the manual puller it is
necessary to unscrew and withdraw the machine's lower front panel. After the door has been
unlocked manually, open it using the handle as explained above and then put the panel back in
place.
