2.3 Equipment configuration of the CERTOMAT®
CTplus and connection of equipment options

2.3.1 Shaker drive

The shaker drive is installed in the cabinet shaker at
the factory according to your order and is ready for
use after fitting the tray and loading the shaker
vessels. Any conversion of the shaker drive to another
stroke must only be carried out by qualified and
authorized service technicians. If necessary, contact
the responsible service representative or contact the
service office of Sartorius Stedim Systems GmbH
directly.
2.3.2 SENSOLUX® connection
A 9-pin sub-D socket is available in the incubation
cabinet for connecting an optional SENSOLUX® tray.

2.3.3 Illumination unit (option)

Push the illumination unit into the associated guide
rails. The 4 fastening screws of the support rails must
be loosened slightly beforehand. Push in the
illumination unit until the transverse hole in the
support rails is visible. Insert the screws provided into
the transverse holes and secure them in this way to
prevent the illumination from slipping out. Carefully
retighten the 4 fastening screws. Insert the power
supply plug into the designated mains socket in the
incubation cabinet (see Fig. 2). Secure the plug (see
Fig. 3) by screwing the union nut into the mains
socket (see Fig. 4). You can switch off the individual
tubes manually if required in order to reduce the light
intensity (see Fig. 5)
