Warranty and Customer Service

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, all devices of
Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH have a warranty from
the date of delivery based on the General Terms and
Conditions.
- The warranty applies for defective and faulty
operation due to faults in design or manufacturing
and material defects, but not for faults that can be
attributed to incorrect operation, improper handling
and use as well as for parts that fail due to normal
wear and does not apply to consumables.
- The warranty will expire if the user or non-
authorised third parties technically modify the
device or use equipment configurations, components
and accessories that are not approved by Sartorius
Stedim Biotech GmbH for use in conjunction with
the CERTOMAT® CTplus cabinet shaker.
Defects can be repaired by the service representative
of Sartorius Stedim Systems GmbH or on site by
authorised service personnel. In the event of a defect,
please notify the representative of Sartorius Stedim
Systems GmbH or contact

- Only use spare parts that have been approved by
Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH for the CERTOMAT®
CTplus for repairs.
- Defective devices can be returned to Sartorius
Stedim Systems GmbH.
Returned devices must be clean, in a perfectly hygienic
condition and carefully packed. Parts that have been
contaminated by media and media elements must be
cleaned, decontaminated, disinfected or also sterilized in
accordance with the guidelines applicable for the area
of application, e.g. for chemical or biological safety.
The sender must demonstrate adherence to the safety
guidelines. For this, the attached decontamination
declaration must be filled out, undersigned and
accompany the device. Devices will not be repaired
without evidence of safety or description of the
measures taken.
The costs for any damage during transport, including
subsequent cleaning and disinfection where required,
will be borne by the sender.

Password system

Only make this information available to authorized
users and to the service department. If necessary,
remove this page from the manual and keep it
separately.
Certain system functions and settings that should only
be accessible to authorized personnel are protected by
the standard password system. This includes, for
example,
- the setting of the control parameters (e.g. PID) in the
control menus,
- in the main "Settings" function
- the setting of the "PV" process values
- the setting of the interface parameters for digital
and analog process inputs and outputs or the
setting of controllers for the simulation in the
"Manual Operation" level.
The "Service" submenu of the main "Settings" function
can only be accessed with a special service password.
This is only available to authorized service personnel.
If a password-protected function is selected, a keypad
with the prompt to enter the password appears
automatically. The following passwords can be
specified:
- Standard password, preset ex works: "[ 19 ]".
- Customer-specific standard password: "[ ____ ]"*).
