Getting Started
• When connecting with analog audio cannon cables
Connect a component to the ANALOG OUT
(BALANCE) connectors.
a)
a) To plug in the cables, match these positions and insert
the cables firmly.
b) To detach the cables, pull the cables out while pressing
the lock button.

Connecting a personal computer or work station
You can control the player with a computer by
connecting your personal computer or work station.

Connect the equipment to the RS-232C connector using
a D-Sub cable.
For details on setting of the RS-232C connector, see
"Setting the Menu Options" on page 18.
If you have CD-TEXT discs
The player can read the information stored on CD-TEXT
discs. When making this connection, the player transmits
the CD-TEXT information to your personal computer or
work station.
