4 Installation

WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND/OR
FIRE HAZARD . Failure to obey the following
warnings could result in death or serious
injury .
• Installer: This Cooktop is provided with a 120 V AC
power cord and must be plugged into a 120 V AC
receptacle that is accessible to the end user.
• Dometic recommends that the installer provide a
convenience disconnect switch, within 3 ft (0.9 m) of
the induction cooker, that disconnects the 120 V AC
power to the Cooktop when not in use.
• When using the Cooktop, place it horizontally and
allow at least 4.7 in. (12cm) of free space between
the sides and back of the Cooktop and the wall. Do
not use the Cooktop in narrow spaces. To avoid
overheating, do not cover the ventilation openings.
• Use a dedicated and high-quality power outlet with a
high-power rating equal to or above 13.2 A.
• Do not use poor quality outlets or share the power
outlet with electrical appliances with high-power
ratings, such as air conditioners, electrical stoves, etc.

WARNING: PROJECTILE HAZARD .
This Cooktop must be permanently installed in the
countertop with glue, silicone, or other positive
securement means. Failure to secure the Cooktop
permanently could result in the Cooktop becoming
airborne in the occupant space of the vehicle in the
event of an accident, creating a risk of serious blunt
force injury to, or death of, any persons therein.
Failure to obey this warning could result in death or
serious injury.

ceramic plate.

4 .1 Assembling the Induction
Cooktop
This section will explain how to properly assemble the
Cooktop prior to installation.
1. Carefully turn the Cooktop upside down.
2. Push the fan cover connectors into the holes next to
the fans until you hear a click.

The connectors are different sizes. If they don't fit in
the holes, turn the fan cover 180°.

4 .2 Installing the Induction Cooktop

This section will explain the dimensions for the Cooktop
cutouts and clearance measurements required to
properly place the Cooktop for use.
