5 Operation


WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK, FIRE, AND/
OR BURN HAZARD . Failure to obey the
following warnings could result in death or
serious injury:
• Unplug the cooker from the outlet when not in use.
Allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not use water on grease fires. Smother fire or
flame or use dry chemical or foam type extinguisher.
• Wear proper apparel. Loose-fitting or hanging
garments should never be work while using the
appliance.
• Do not operate this appliance by means of an

external timer or separate remote-control system.

• Shore power is the best option for the Dometic
Induction Cooktop.
• If a generator is used, it must have a pure sine wave
output and a minimum power rating of 2000 W.
• The Dometic Induction Cooktop should not be used
with inverting power supplies.

WARNING: FIRE AND/OR BURN HAZARD .
Failure to obey the following warnings could
result in death or serious injury:
• Flammable materials should not be stored near
surface units.
• Never leave surface units unattended at high heat
settings. Boil over causes smoking and greasy
spillovers that may ignite.
