INSTALLATION

3.1

General installation precautions

WARNING
This appliance is designed and manufactured for cooking food only. Any other
use is considered improper and incorrect creating hazardous conditions. The
manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage to property or injury to people
caused by incorrect installation and / or incorrect and improper use.
WARNING
This appliance must be installed according to current regulations.
The appliance must be installed by specialised technicians.
WARNING
Before installing, check that the characteristics of the electrical system and the
mains power supply are compatible with the appliance.
The electrical specifications of the appliance are indicated on the data plate or see
para 3.4 "Electrical connections".
WARNING
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
WARNING
The appliance must fitted at an appropriate and safe distance from flammable
materials.
3.2

Installation hole

The dimensions of the appliance and the dimensions of the installation hole are indicated in fig. 3 page 48.
Minimum distances to observe from the walls (fig. 4 page 49):
• 500 mm: between the glass of the hob and the units or shelves located over the appliance.
• 20 mm: from the edge of the cooking surface glass to the side and/or back walls.
• 76 mm: from the bottom of the appliance to the surface of the unit located underneath.

CAUTION
The front of the unit must be parallel to and flush with the horizontal worktop. The
installation hole must be perfectly parallel and aligned.
Make the installation hole in the unit.
3.3

Fixing

The appliance is supplied with 4 fixing elements. Position the appliance inside the installation hole and insert
the 4 fixing elements (fig. 5 page 50). Tighten the screws taking care not to overtighten them.
