11. Pour éteindre le lecteur de CD, terminez la reproduction en appuyant sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (4). Le
lecteur de CD passe en mode PAUSE.
12. Tournez le volume de l'ampli/de la table de mixage sur minimum.
13. Eteignez l'ampli/la table de mixage.
14. N'éteignez que maintenant le lecteur de CD au moyen de l'interrupteur POWER (35).
Une non observation de cet ordre de procédure risque d'endommager les haut-parleurs
et/ou l'ampli/la table de mixage.
Pendant la reproduction d'un CD, le numéro du titre joué et le temps restant à jouer du
titre (REMAIN) sont affichés sur le display. En appuyant à nouveau et brièvement sur la
touche TIME (25), il est possible d'afficher aussi le temps à jouer restant de tout le CD
(TOTAL REMAIN) ou la durée déjà écoulée du titre joué (ELAPSED).
Interrompre la lecture
1. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (4) pour interrompre brièvement la reproduction du CD.
L'appareil se met en mode PAUSE. L'affichage de la pause apparaît sur le display. Après une durée de
15 minutes, l'appareil passe automatiquement du mode PAUSE en mode STOP. L'affichage complet du
display commence à clignoter.
2. Appuyez encore une fois sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (4) pour reprendre la reproduction.
Sélectionner un titre
1. Appuyez pendant la reproduction/la pause sur la touche
2. Appuyez pendant la lecture d'un CD/la pause sur la touche
pour passer au titre précédent.
L'appareil détermine automatiquement, à chaque fois que vous sélectionnez un titre au
moyen des touches de saut d'un titre à l'autre, un nouveau point CUE (point LOOP IN). Ce
point CUE est positionné au début du titre sélectionné. L'affichage CUE et le voyant CUE
LED (28) ne clignotent que brièvement à ce moment-là.
Choisir un passage d'un titre
1. La bague tournante Shuttle (1) permet de trouver rapidement un passage déterminé d'un titre. La
vitesse de défilement dépend de la position de cette bague vers la droite ou vers la gauche. Une fois
cette bague relâchée, elle revient d'elle-même en position mitoyenne. Pour une recherche vers l'avant,
tourner cette bague vers la droite. Pour une recherche vers l'arrière, tourner cette bague vers la gauche.
2. Le disque tournant JOG (2) permet de trouver exactement un passage déterminé d'un titre. Un réglage
précis pendant le mode PAUSE d'une sortie de beat est ainsi très facile au moyen de ce disque de com-
mande qui permet de chercher par très petites étapes d'une manière audible. Pour une recherche vers
l'avant, tourner ce disque vers la droite. Pour une recherche vers l'arrière, tourner ce disque vers la gauche.
Il est possible de travailler en mode de lecture (reproduction) ou en mode PAUSE avec ce
disque JOG avec bague SHUTTLE. Si ce disque et cette bague sont utilisés en mode
PAUSE, la fonction d'avancement par à-coups du signal audio est audible par la suite sur
la sortie audio.
Fonction SINGLE
1. Appuyez sur la touche SINGLE/CTN (23). L'affichage "SINGLE" apparaît sur le display. Dans ce mode
de fonctionnement, l'appareil détermine automatiquement après chaque titre à nouveau le point CUE et
passe en mode PAUSE.
2. Appuyez sur la touche SINGLE/CTN (23). L'affichage "SINGLE" disparaît du display. Le CD inséré sera
maintenant joué entièrement et sans pause jusqu'à sa fin. Après la lecture de tous les titres du CD, la
lecture du CD complet reprend du début.

While the CD is played, the track number and the remaining track playing time (REMAIN)
are displayed. If you press the TIME key (25) again, you can invoke the total remaining
playing time of the CD (TOTAL REMAIN) or the elapsed track playing time (ELAPSED).
Interrupting Playback
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE key (4) to interrupt CD playback briefly. The system switches to PAUSE. The
display shows pause. After 15 minutes, the system switches from PAUSE to STOP automatically. The
complete display begins to flash.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE key (4) again to continue playback.
Selecting a Track
1. During playback/pause, press the track skip key

The system sets the CUE point (LOOP IN point) automatically after every track selection
with the track skip keys. The CUE is set to the beginning of the selected track. The dis-
play CUE and the CUE LED (28) flash briefly.
Selecting a Passage in a Track
1. The shuttle wheel (1) helps finding a certain passage of a track. The search speed depends on how far
you turn the wheel to left/right. When you have released the control wheel, it returns to the centre posi-
tion automatically. To search forward, turn the wheel to the right. To search backwards, turn the wheel
to the left.
2. The JOG wheel (2) helps finding a certain passage of a track quickly. A precise setting of a beat cue is
very easy with the control wheel in the PAUSE function, since the track is scanned in very small steps
and the search steps are audible. To search forward, turn the wheel to the right. To search backwards,
turn the wheel to the left.
The SHUTTLE or the JOG wheel can be operated in pause or playback mode. When the
wheels are used in pause mode, the stutter function of the audio signal can be heard
afterwards on the audio output.
SINGLE Function
1. Press the SINGLE/CTN key (23). The display now shows "SINGLE". In this mode, the system auto-
matically sets the CUE after every track and then switches to pause.
2. Press the SINGLE/CTN key (23). The "SINGLE" goes out. The inserted CD is now played from begin-
ning to end without any interruptions. When all the tracks have been played, the complete CD will be
played again.
