• Connect the SYSCON IN/OUT socket 2 of the operating unit to the SYSCON IN/OUT socket 2 of the CD
drive unit.
Only use the enclosed SYSCON cable as connecting line.
Connecting the CONTROL outputs:
If you want to operate the CONTROL function (remote start) of the CD player via a mixing console, connect
the remote control output CONTROL 1 and CONTROL 2 to the respective remote control sockets in a mix-
ing console. Usually certain channels have assigned to this function in a mixing console.
The input of the CONTROL sockets in the CD player must be controlled with a potential-free switch/button.
A contact between the Tipp of the jack plug and the audio mass starts playback. A contact between the
shaft of the jack plug and the audio mass activates the PAUSE mode.
The input CONTROL 1 controls the CD player 1, the input CONTROL 2 controls the CD player 2. Use the
enclosed REMOTE cable (3.5 mm mono jack cable) for connecting.
Commissioning
In order to make sure that the device is properly taken into operation, please read the
operating instructions with the safety instructions completely and carefully before use.
Basic Function
The two units (CD drive and operating unit) have the same features and can be operated?? separately. We
therefore only describe one side.
1. Turn the volume control of the connected amplifier/mixing console completely down.
2. Press the POWER key (35) to switch on the CD player. The POWER LED (36) lights up, and the display
shows "NO DISC" after a moment.
3. Switch on the amplifier/mixing console.
4. Select the respective input in the amplifier/mixing console.
5. Open the CD tray with the OPEN/CLOSE key (24) or (34), the display reads "OPEN". The opened CD
tray will close automatically after about 60 seconds.
6. Place an audio CD with the printed side upwards into the tray.
The CD player is only suitable for replaying audio CDs, do not insert any other CDs. The
system cannot read CD-RWs. Make sure the CD has been inserted correctly into the
opening in the tray. Never obstruct the movement of the CD cover.
7. Close the CD drive, press the OPEN/CLOSE key (24/34) again.
8. When the CD has been read, the system switches to the PAUSE mode automatically. Start playback
with the PLAY/PAUSE key (4).
9. Now turn the volume control of the connected amplifier/mixing console to the desired volume.
10. You can now try out the other functions of the CD player as described under the other sections.
11. To switch off the CD player, stop playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE key (4). The CD player now
switches to the PAUSE mode.
12. Turn the volume down to the minimum in the amplifier/mixing console.

Programmer l'ordre de lecture des titres du CD
1. Appuyez sur la touche PROGRAM (21), l'affichage "P01", "PROGRAM", "TRACK" et la minuterie,
"00:00:00" apparaissent sur le display.
2. Appuyez sur la touche
(9) ou
(8) de saut d'un titre à l'autre ou sur le pavé numérique (11)
pour sélectionner le premier titre.
3. Appuyez sur la touche PROGRAMM (21) pour confirmer. L'affichage sur le display passe de "P01" à
"P02".
4. Appuyez sur la touche
(9) ou
(8) de saut d'un titre à l'autre ou sur le pavé numérique (11)
pour sélectionner le deuxième titre.
5. Appuyez sur la touche PROGRAMM (21) pour confirmer. L'affichage sur le display passe de "P02" à
"P03".
6. Répétez les points 4 et 5 jusqu'à ce que tous les titres souhaités soient programmés.
7. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (4) pour démarrer la reproduction.
8. Pour effacer la programmation, appuyez sur la touche PROGRAM (21) et maintenez-la appuyée. L'affi-
chage "PROGRAM" disparaît du display.
Il est possible de programmer jusqu'à 30 titres.
Fonction RELAY
Cette fonction permet aux deux lecteurs de CD de se relayer l'un après l'autre pour la reproduction des
titres. C'est-à-dire que le deuxième lecteur est automatiquement démarré dès que le premier a fini la repro-
duction d'un titre.
1. Appuyez sur la touche RELAY (14) pendant que les deux modules de lecture se trouvent en mode
PAUSE. Le voyant RELAY LED (15) s'allume.
2. Activez la fonction SINGLE des deux modules de lecture en appuyant sur les touches SINGLE/CTN
(23). L'affichage "SINGLE" apparaît sur le display.
3. Démarrez la reproduction sur l'un des modules de lecture au moyen de la touche PLAY/PAUSE (4). La
reproduction démarre en mode RELAY.
4. Appuyez sur la touche RELAY (14) pour désactiver la fonction RELAY.
La fonction RELAY n'est seulement possible que quand le mode SINGLE a été activé sur
les deux modules à la fois. Un démarrage par télécommande par les bornes CONTROL
n'est pas possible pendant la fonction RELAY. Changer un CD pendant que l'un des lec-
teurs est en mode PAUSE est par contre possible. Ceci facilite grandement un arrange-
ment aisé et sans pauses du programme souhaité. Le début d'une reproduction peut
également se faire à partir d'un point CUE mémorisé.
Fonction LOOP/RELOOP
Cette fonction permet de déterminer une boucle fermée continue de reproduction. La séquence marquée
sera reproduite en continu de son début à sa fin (lecture en boucle fermée). Les points de début et de fin
(points LOOP IN et LOOP OUT) peuvent être sélectionnés soit pendant la reproduction soit en mode PAUSE.
1. Appuyez la touche IN/R.CUE (7) au point de départ souhaité de la boucle. Le voyant CUE LED (28), les
affichages "CUE", "LOOP" et les voyants SEAMLESS LOOP IN LED (30) clignotent brièvement.
2. Appuyez la touche OUT/EXIT (10) au point de fin souhaitée de la boucle. Si le point final de la boucle
est déterminé pendant la reproduction du CD, la boucle fermée démarre automatiquement. Si le point
final de la boucle est déterminé en mode PAUSE, il faut ensuite appuyer sur la touche RELOOP pour
démarrer la boucle. L'affichage "LOOP" sur le display et les deux voyants SEAMLESS LED clignotent.
3. Si vous appuyez sur la touche CUE (3) pendant la reproduction de la boucle fermée, l'appareil revient
au point de départ de la boucle et passe ensuite en mode PAUSE.
4. Pour terminer la reproduction d'une boucle fermée, appuyez sur la touche OUT/EXIT (10). La repro-
duction normale reprend. Les deux voyants SEAMLESS LOOP LED et les affichages "RELOOP" et
"LOOP" s'allument en continu.
5. Appuyer sur la touche RELOOP (12) permet de redémarrer la boucle fermée.
6. Pour terminer à nouveau la reproduction de cette boucle, appuyez sur la touche OUT/EXIT (10).
