Conseils pour le maniement des CD :
• Ne touchez les CD qu'en les prenant par les côtés. Vous évitez ainsi les
empreintes digitales et salissures de la surface du disque.
• Ne touchez vos CD qu'avec des mains propres.
• Au cas où un disque serait toutefois sali, essuyez-le avec un chiffon doux et
non pelucheux en allant du milieu vers le bord extérieur, surtout pas en mou-
vements tournants. Evitez tous les mouvements tournants pendant le nettoya-
ge du disque. N'utilisez pas de solvants.
• Dans le cas de salissures plus importantes, veuillez utiliser un détergent spé-
cial CD vendu dans le commerce (pas un produit pour disques 33 ou 45 tours)
et prenez compte des consignes du fabricant.
• N'écrivez rien sur les CD et n'y collez pas d'autocollant ou similaire.
• Conservez vos CD après écoute dans les étuis CD d'origine.
• Evitez de conserver vos CD à un endroit directement exposé au soleil, à toute
source de chaleur ou d'humidité.
Elimination des déchets
Jetez l'appareil devenu inutilisable conformément aux lois en vigueur.
Dépannage
Avec ce double lecteur de CD, vous avez acquis un appareil fiable et sûr, construit d'après les derniers pro-
grès de la technique. D'éventuels problèmes ou anomalies pourraient cependant survenir.
C'est pourquoi nous décrivons ci-dessous comment parer vous-même à ces dérangements :

(17) BEAT LED(
The BEAT LED flashes in the rhythm of the music.
(18) PITCH LED
LED lights up when the PITCH function is activat-
ed.
(19) COUNTER key
Key for counting the bpm. This key must be
pressed at least twice. The key is only active in the
BPM mode.
(20) BPM key
By pressing this key, you can switch on/off the
BPM function.
(21) PROGRAM key
With this key you can call the track programming
function, or store the selected track in the pro-
gramming function. When you press the key for a
long time, everything that has been programmed
will be erased.
(22) Display
The display shows information about the CD that
is being played and the operating mode of the CD
player.
(23) SINGLE/CTN key
By pressing this key, you can switch on/off the
SINGLE function.
(24) OPEN/CLOSE key
This key opens/closes the CD tray in the PAUSE
mode.
As soon as you have closed the tray with a CD, the
system switches to the PAUSE function automati-
cally.
(25) TIME key
Press the key shortly to switch between the differ-
ent time displays (remaining playing time of the
track => total playing time of the CD => track play-
ing time).
Display
(a) PLAY display
This display lights up during playback.
(b) PAUSE display
The display lights up in the PAUSE mode.
(c) CUE display
The display lights up when the system is in PAUSE
mode and is set on the CUE. Display flashes when
the CUE is set.
(d) RELOOP display
The display lights up when a playback loop is
stored.
(26) MEMORY key
With this key and the number keys you can set up to
10 CUEs.
When you press the key for a long time, the pro-
grammed CUEs will be erased.
(27) RECALL key
With this key and the number keys you can call the
set 10 CUEs.
(28) CUE LED

(29) PLAY/PAUSE LED
The PLAY/PAUSE LED lights up during playback and
flashes in the PAUSE mode.
(30) SEAMLESS LOOP IN LED

CD drive unit:
(34) OPEN/CLOSE key

(35) POWER switch
With this key you can switch the system on/off.
If the CD tray is opened when you switch the system
on, it closes automatically.
(36) POWER LED
POWER LED lights up when the system is switched
on.
e) TRACK display
Shows the track that is being played or that has been
selected. When the CD is read in, the total number of
tracks on the CD is briefly displayed.
(f) ELAPSED display
The display lights when the track playing time has
been selected with TIME.
(g) TOTAL REMAIN display
The display lights when the total remaining playing
time of the CD has been selected with TIME.
