eyes. Do not remove the warning signs from the system.

that have not been answered in these operating instructions, please contact our Techni-
cal Information Service or another expert. Consult an expert when in doubt about the way
of operation or the safety of the system.
Installation and Operating Elements

Operating unit:
(1) SHUTTLE wheel
Turn the wheel to the right to increase (+) and to
the left to reduce (-) fast search.
The search speed depends on how far you turn
the wheel to left/right.
(2) JOG wheel
Turn the wheel to the right to increase (+) and to
the left to reduce (-) slow search.
(3) CUE key
Press the CUE key during playback to set the CD
player in the PAUSE function (mute) to the CUE.
If you keep the key pressed during the PAUSE
function, playback starts. When you release the
key, the system will return to the CUE and
switched to the PAUSE function (mute) again.
(4) PLAY/PAUSE key
This key starts playback, or activates the PAUSE
function.
(5) (6) PITCH BEND (-/+) key
Press the key (+) to increase or (-) to reduce the
playback speed.
Speed modification: +/-16%
(7) IN/R.CUE key
Press the key to set the CUE, or the beginning of
the playback loop.

track skip keys
With the track skip keys you can select any track
on the CD.

(10) OUT/EXIT key
Press the key to set the end of the replay loop, or to
start the playback loop simultaneously.
Press the key again to stop the playback loop.
(11) Number keys 1-0
With the number keys you can select a track on the
CD directly. For selecting a two-digit track, e.g. 12,
please press key 1 and then key 2 in quick succes-
sion.
(12) RELOOP key
Press the RELOOP key to restart a de-activated loop.
(13) PITCH sliding switch
You can change the playback speed with the sliding
switch between +/- 12%.
In the (+) range, the speed increases, in the (-) range,
it decreases.
The sliding switch is only active when the PITCH LED
(18) is illuminated.
(14) RELAY key
By pressing this key, you can switch on/off the
RELAY function.
(15) RELAY LED
The RELAY LED lights up when the RELAY function is
activated.
(16) PITCH ON/OFF key
The pitch key activates the function of the PITCH slid-
ing switch (13). When the function is switched on, the
PITCH LED (18) lights up.
