RDS ( Radio Data System )/INFO

When you are listening to a FM station with RDS system, LCD display
will appear RDS symbol. Press RDS/INFO button will cycle through the
various modes. However this will function only if reception level is
sufficient and clear.
1. Signal level –
display will show SGLV and signal bar.
2. Program service (PS) –
displays the radio station name.
3. Program type (PTY) –
displays the type of station being listening to e.g. Pop, Classic,
News etc.
4. Radio Text (RT) –
displays radio text messages such as news items etc.
5. clock time information –
displays real time and date. If the clock time is auto set by RDS
clock time. Display will appear CT.
Note:
If the FM station you are listening to is without RDS broadcasting,
press RDS/INFO button, will cycle through only signal level and clock
time information.
