if they are not being continuously supervised.
Prevent children from playing with the appliance.
• SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Prevent children
from playing with the packaging parts. Some
components (such as nylon or polystyrene)
can be dangerous if swallowed or placed over
the head. Keep the packaging parts away from
children.
• AT T E N T I O N : D o n o t l e a v e t h e p l a t e
unattended while it is operating. Automatic
cooking on the cooking surface with grease or
oil can be dangerous and can cause a FIRE.
Do not attempt to extinguish a fire with water
but instead switch off the appliance and then
suffocate the flame with a lid, a damp kitchen
cloth or a fire blanket.
• Do not use the plate to heat the environment.
High temperatures can easily ignite inflammable
objects nearby.
• Do not heat closed jars and containers; high
pressure develops inside which could cause the
container to explode.
