• Push the crown to position 0 and pull it back to position 1.
• Slowly turn the crown in a clockwise direction. The calendar now
advances incrementally. Set the previous day's date; also observe
the month and leap year display.
• Pull out the crown to position 2. This stops the time display.
• Turn the hands forwards until the date display switches to the current
day's date. The hands now point between midnight and 1.00.
• Now move the hands forwards to the exact time; for the afternoon,
the hands must be turned past noon once again. Push back the crown
to position 0 to start the time display.
• Finally, push the crown to position X and lock it by simultaneously
turning it in a clockwise direction.
Reading the chronograph
Seconds counter: The graduations for the central seconds stop hand are
present on the edge of the dial.
Minutes and hours counter: The 12-hour and the 60-minute graduations
with two continuously operating hands are situated at 12.00 on the auxiliary
dial. The hours and minutes counter can be read like the normal, analogue
time display, which means that one revolution of the minutes counter
corresponds to 60 minutes, and one revolution of the hours counter cor-
responds to 12 hours.
