B.2.3 Setpoint managing dialog boxes
Default PID Setpoints
The Default PID Setpoints dialog box can be accessed by clicking on any of the text
fields in the lower part of the Batch Manager display. The illustration below shows an
example of the Default PID Setpoints dialog box.
The default PID setpoints are used to define the setpoints that do not change during a
batch run. The setpoints typed into the text fields of the Default PID Setpoints dialog
box will be applied at the beginning of the batch and are not changed by the control
system during the run. The setpoints can be changed by the operator during the run.
