Function
Range limits for the set alarm:
LoLo, critical low limit
•
Lo, warning low limit
•
Hi, warning high limit
•
HiHi, critical high limit
•
Time DB (time deadband), the length of time a value must be outside
•
the value deadband to issue an alarm.
Remarque :
A parameter may deviate from the set alarm for a time shorter than
Time DB without causing an alarm.
Value DB (value deadband), an interval around the set alarm value
•
where the alarm is active.
Remarque :
Value DB will keep an alarm active until the parameter value is within
the value deadband.
Remarque :
Setting the deadband values avoids the nuisance alarms, coming on and
off ("chattering") when close to the limit.
