Cleaning the water intake
screen

► Unscrew the connector (1) of the water con‐
nection.
► Remove water intake screen (2) from the con‐
nector.
► Rinse out the water intake screen (2) under
running water.
► Insert water intake screen (2) into the connec‐
tor.
► Attach the connector (1) and tighten it securely
by hand.

Cleaning the water filter in the
suction set
The suction cup must be disassembled for clean‐
ing the water filter.

► Unscrew the connector (2).
► Remove the water filter (3) from the suction
cup (4).
► Rinse out the connector (2), water filter (3) and
suction cup (4) under running water.

► Clean the battery with a damp cloth.

Cleaning the Charger
► Disconnect the mains plug from the power
supply.
► Clean the charger with a damp cloth.
► Clean the charger's electrical contacts with a
paintbrush or a soft brush.

Maintenance intervals
Maintenance intervals depend on the ambient
conditions and the operating conditions. STIHL
recommends the following maintenance inter‐
vals:

► Clean water intake screen.
18 Repairing
18.1
Repairing pressure washer,
battery and charger
The user cannot personally repair the pressure
washer and accessories.
► If the pressure washer or the accessories are
damaged: Do not use the pressure washer or
accessories; contact a STIHL authorized
dealer.
► If the battery is defective or damaged: Replace
the battery.
► If the charger is defective or damaged:
Replace the charger.
► If the connecting cable is defective or dam‐
aged: Do not use the charger and have the
connecting cable replaced by a STIHL author‐
ized dealer.
Remedy
► Charge the battery.
► Remove the battery.
