4 Safety Precautions

4.1

Warning Signs

4.1.1 Pressure washer

necessary precautions.

and keep it in a safe place for refer‐
ence.
Wear safety glasses.
Do not connect the pressure washer
directly to the drinking water supply.
Remove the battery during work inter‐
ruptions, transport, storage, mainte‐
nance or repair.

4.2

Intended Use

The STIHL RCA 20.0 pressure washer is used to
clean the area around the house, e.g., garden
furniture, bicycles, toys, barbecues, garbage
cans and vehicles or for mobile cleaning.
The pressure washer is not suitable for commer‐
cial use.
The pressure washer must not be used in the
rain.
The STIHL AS battery supplies power to the
pressure washer.
The STIHL AL 1, AL 5 or AL 5-2 charger
recharges the STIHL AS battery.
WARNING
■ Using the pressure washer for purposes for
which it is not designed may result in serious
or fatal injuries or damage to property.
► Use the pressure washer as described in
this User Manual.
The STIHL RCA 20.0 pressure washer is not
intended for the following applications:
– Cleaning asbestos cement and similar surfa‐
ces
