Meanings of warning symbols on the lawn
mower and the battery:
Follow the safety instructions and take
the necessary precautions.
Read and understand the User Manual
and keep it in a safe place for refer‐
ence.
Beware of ejected objects: Keep a safe
distance and keep other people away.

The STIHL RMA 353.0 lawn mower is designed
for mowing and mulching dry grass.
The lawn mower is supplied with power by a
STIHL AP battery.
The battery with
transmission of information to the battery in com‐
bination with the STIHL connected app on the
basis of Bluetooth
WARNING
■ Batteries not approved by STIHL for the lawn
mower may cause fires and explosions. This
may result in serious or fatal injury to people
and damage to property.
► Use the lawn mower with a STIHL AP bat‐
tery.
■ Failure to use the lawn mower or battery as
intended may result in serious or fatal injury to
people and damage to property.
► Use the lawn mower as described in this
instruction manual.
► Use the battery as described in this instruc‐
tion manual, the STIHL connected app and
at www.connect.stihl.com.

■ Uninstructed users cannot recognise or evalu‐
ate the dangers posed by the lawn mower and
battery. This may result in serious or fatal
injury to the user or other people.
4 Safety Precautions
Do not touch the rotating blade.
Remove the batteries during work
interruptions, cleaning, transport, stor‐
age, maintenance or repair.
Remove the batteries after operation.
Protect the battery against heat and
fire.
Do not immerse the battery in liquids.
