Master-Slave (Eco) Function
Important
When you receive the Zen-X Master, the Eco (Master-Slave) function is enabled by default.
What is the Eco function?
This function manages devices connected to the so-called "Slave" outlets based on the
power supplied by the so-called "Master" outlet.
The Master outlet controls the power to two other "Slave" outlets: When electrical current is
•
detected on the Master outlet, the two Slave outlets are automatically powered.
The Slave outlets are powered only when a device plugged into the Master socket is turned
•
on, and vice versa. If the device plugged into the Master socket is off or consumes less than
30W, the Eco (Slave) sockets are automatically turned off within 3 minutes. Example: When
the computer is turned off, this allows the disconnection of the monitor and printer that are
plugged into the Slave sockets.
It helps manage energy more efficiently and prevents unused devices from consuming
electricity.
Disabling the Eco function
To disable or enable this function, press and hold the "Mute" button
and wait for 2 beeps.

icon blinks for 3 minutes, then power to the Slave outlets is automatically cut off.
Silent mode
The silent mode can be activated or deactivated by pressing mute button twice in 3 seconds.
(Default: silent mode deactivated)
USB communication port
The USB connection allows communication between the computer and the UPS. To use this function,
simply download the "PowerMaster+" communication software (free) and its user manual from our
website in the "UPS/Software" section.
Protected and Backup Outlets
All outlets are surge-protected. Among them, six outlets provide backup power from the battery. This
means that in the event of a power outage, devices connected to the backed-up sockets can continue
to operate for several minutes.
