Straight cuts
Always use the rip fence for straight cuts to
prevent the workpiece from tilting or
slipping. The rip fence can be mounted on
both sides of the saw blade. After each new
adjustment, we recommend a trial cut in
order to check the set dimensions.

13.4.2 Angular cuts
(Fig.A)
There are two options for sawing diagonally:
Sawing with a tilted saw table
q
Sawing with a mitre gauge fence
q
For cutting dovetail-shaped tines and tenons or
q
wedges, move the saw table to the corresponding
position on the angle scale.
After each new adjustment, we recommend a
q
trial cut in order to check the set dimensions.
13.4.3 Sawing with a tilted saw table
(Fig. A)
Set the saw table to the desired inclination (see
q
"Tilting the saw table").
If possible, attach the rip fence to the right side
q
of the saw table. This will prevent the workpiece
from slipping.
13.4.4 Sawing with a mitre gauge fence
(Fig. A)
Set the mitre gauge fence (19) to the desired
q
angle.
Slide the rail of the mitre gauge fence into the
q
guide on the saw table (6).
With the machine switched off, check that the
q
guide is completely inside the rail at the start of
the cut.
If not, you should saw the cut differently, for example
with a tilted saw table.
If possible, attach the rip fence to the left side of
q
the saw table.
You can now switch on the machine and saw diagonal
