4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the machine to the electrical network,
make sure that the motor voltage, indicated on the
plate, corresponds to the voltage of the power line.
WARNING! make sure that the earth cable
connection is connected to the company
earth.
If it is necessary to use extension cords, check
q
that the cable section is suitable to withstand the
intensity of current absorbed by the machine. It
is however advisable to use the shortest possible
extension cords.
Always remove the plug from the socket before
q
carrying out any maintenance work on the
machine or replacing the blade.
Never abandon the machine with the socket
q
connected to the power network.
Do not transport or move the machine with the
q
socket connected to the power network.
The machine is supplied with double insulation.

The machine must be connected to a standard

system (NFC 15-100) and that has the necessary
protections. If in doubt, consult a quali! ed
electrician.
The power supply network must be equipped
q
with a 16A protection fuse.
The electrical diagram of the machine is shown

in Fig.1.

RESIDUAL RISKS
The machine has been constructed using modern
technology in accordance with recognised safety
standards. However, some residual risks may still
exist.
Risk of injury to ! ngers and hands from the
q
rotating saw band due to improper handling of
the workpiece.
Risk of injury from the thrown workpiece due to
q
improper handling, such as working without the
pusher.
Risk of damage to health from wood dust and
q
wood chips. Wear personal protective equipment
such as goggles. Use a suitable dust extractor.
Risk of injury from a defective saw band. Check
q
the saw band regularly for such defects.
Risk of injury to ! ngers and hands when replacing
q
the saw band. Wear suitable gloves.
Risk of injury from the saw band starting up
q
when the machine is switched on.
Use of incorrect or damaged power cables can
q
cause injuries from electricity.
Wear only tight-! tting clothing. Remove rings,
q
bracelets and other jewelry.
For the safety of long hair, wear a hat or hairnet.
q
Even when all safety measures are taken, there
may still be some residual hazards that are not
yet apparent. Residual hazards can be minimized
by following the instructions in "General Safety
Instructions", "Correct Use" and the entire
operating manual.

PREPARATION
