4 Intended Use
This heating pad is intended for applying heat to the human body. It is not suitable for use in hospitals or for
any other commercial use. In particular, it should not be used for babies or infants, persons who are insensitive
to heat, helpless persons, or animals. Any use not described above, or modifications of the heating pad are
not permissible and may lead to injury and /or damage to the heating pad. The manufacturer assumes no
liability for damage due to improper use.
Safety System
The heating pad is equipped with a safety system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface
of the heating pad from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system
switches the heating pad off automatically due to a fault, then the heating indicator light on the controller is
no longer illuminated, even if the heating pad is switched on.
NOTICE
• Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating pad must not be used after a fault and must be returned
to the service address indicated.
• Never connect the defective heating pad to another controller of the same type. This would also result in
a permanent shutdown by the safety system in the controller.
5 To Use
NOTICE
• The heating pad may smell of plastic the first time you use it, but this will disappear after a short period
of time.
To begin, first connect the control connector to the heating pad connector.
