Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a widespread and generally recognized method, and has been used
in sports and rehabilitation medicine for years.
Intended use
This device is intended only for electrostimulation of human feet and lower legs. The device is only suitable
for private use, and not for medical or commercial purposes. It cannot replace medical treatment. Do not
use the device if one or several of the above warnings apply to you. If you are unsure whether the device is
suitable for you, please consult your doctor. Use the device for the purpose it was developed for only and in
the manner specified in these instructions for use. Any form of improper use can be dangerous. The manu-
facturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use.
Indication for use
The device is intended to stimulate healthy muscles of the lower extremity in order to temporarily increase
local blood circulation and to stimulate healthy muscles in order to improve and facilitate muscle performance.

5. Initial use

NOTE: You can use the device either with the supplied power adapter or with batteries. We recommend
using the power adaptor for reasons of sustainability.
Inserting the batteries
To operate the device with batteries, you must first insert the batteries into
the EMS circulation stimulator. Proceed as follows.
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the EMS circula-
tion stimulator.
2. Insert four AA (1.5 V) batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure
that the batteries are inserted according to the correct polarity as shown
in the battery compartment.
3. Push the battery compartment closed until you hear and feel it click
into place.
Inserting the batteries in the remote control
To use the remote control, you must first insert batteries in the remote control. Proceed as
follows.
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the remote control by using a pointed
object to push the lock back and release the cover.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batter-
ies are inserted according to the correct polarity as shown in the battery compartment.
3. Push the battery compartment of the remote control closed until you hear and feel it
click into place.
