BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME

1.
Remove all packaging materials and transport safeguards. Keep packaging
materials away from children– danger of suffocation!
2.
Before using the appliance for the first time, we recommend that your rinse
off all removable parts except the motor (1) in warm water.
3.
Wipe off the housing and the aperture for the ice cream bowl with a damp
cloth that has been well wrung out to remove excess water.
4.
Place the appliance on a solid, level and dry work surface. Ensure that you
maintain an adequate distance to heat sources and other objects. The vent
slots on the appliance and on the motor must always remain free.
5.
If the device has been transported, you must wait for at least one hour before
the device can be started up. Otherwise the compressor can be damaged.

MAKING ICE CREAM

1.
Prepare the ingredients for the ice cream as stated in the recipe. If the ice
cream mixture has to be cooked, this should be done a day in advance so
the mixture has time to cool thoroughly.
2.
Refrigerate the prepared ice cream mixture or the required ingredients to a
temperature of 6-8 °C.
3.
Puree fruit just before mixing the ingredients and add pieces of fruit at the
end.
4.
Use alcohol sparingly and do not add until the end of the freezing time,
because alcohol prolongs the time needed for freezing.
5.
Place the removable ice cream bowl in the space provided in the compressor
housing (5).
6.
Place the mixer (3) precisely in the middle of the ice cream bowl (4)
7.
Fill the refrigerated ingredients into the removable ice cream bowl. Be sure
not to exceed the maximum capacity of approximately ¾ of the bowl as the
ice expands due to the freezing process. However, we recommend filling the
ice bowl at least halfway for a homogeneous freezing process.
8.
Bear in mind that the ice bowl must be dry on the outside.
9.
Place the lid on the ice cream bowl and turn the lid to the left so that it is
locked.
10. Insert the motor.
11. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
12. The appliance is ready for operation.
13. You can now select the desired program with the selector switch. The
