MAGNETIC DRILL
POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
1. Magnet switch not on.
2. Damaged circuit board
or power supply cord.
3. Power supply failure.
4. The fuse is burnt out.
5. Carbon brushes are
stuck or worn out
6. Defective armature.
7. Defective magnet, ON
or OFF switch.
1. Magnet switch not on.
2. Damaged magnet
switch, electromagnet
or circuit board.
1. Motor switch is not on.
2. Poor contact between
brush and commutator.
3. Damaged motor or
drill armature.
4. Drill chuck/spindle
jammed or damaged.

SUGGESTED SOLUTION(S)
1. Turn the magnet switch on.
2. Repair or replace the
damaged components.
3. Replace with adequate
power supply.
4. Replace the F2AL 250V
fuse.
5. Inspect and replace
carbon brushes if
necessary.
6. Replace armature.
7. Replace switch.

on.
2. Repair or replace the
damaged components.
