INSPECTING AND REPLACING
ANODE(S)
Yamaha outboard motor is protected from
corrosion by a sacrificial anode(s). Check
the anode(s) periodically. Remove the
scales from surfaces of the anode(s). For
the inspection and replacement of the
anode(s), consult a Yamaha dealer.
CAUTION:

Do not paint the anode(s), for this would
render it ineffective.
