Capacitive sensors with EasyTeach Function - ETW = Easy Teach by wire
1. Mounting
Mount and fix the device in the desired position.
It is important that the active surface (PEEK
tip) juts into the container in such a way that it
is completely surrounded by the product to be
measured when the container is filled.

2. Electrical connection

The electrical connection should be made
according to the connection diagram below.
Please observe the technical specifications
provided on the device and the data sheet.
3. Adjustment
The setting of the sensor takes place using the
Teach wire (Pin 2).
The settings screen offers 3 menu items:
•
Empty adjustment - level min. (> 3...< 13 sec.)
– LED green
• Full adjustment - level max. (> 13...< 26 sec.)
– LED orange
• Test (> 26...< 36 sec.)
- LED orange / green
The sequence must be maintained.
The output reflects the status of the LEDs. By
disconnecting the Teach wire (Pin 2) from the
supply voltage, the respective setting of the
selected action is carried out.
